The Dimes, They Are a Changin' Part II

The first three challenges are critically important to Jay County and the last challenge can provide some financial resources to assist with those challenges. In addition, the county has been designated as a HELP community through OCRA – the intent of which is to assist in planning for the county’s usage of ARPA funding with help from state partners and colleges/universities.
Knowing that some challenges can be addressed through ARPA funds and some cannot, the community feels it best to plan accordingly. Some of the other pressing challenges include population decline, housing, childcare, developing a skilled workforce, and downtown revitalization, among others.
Jay County challenges ultimate FFC innovators with providing a unique solution to help plan the usage of ARP and economic development funds to address the many challenges facing the county over the next decade.
